is taking a new approach to the internal creative team by developing a fully functional advertising agency in-house. We create high-visibility content to support every layer of the funnel starting with brand awareness. Approximately 50% of our efforts support Visa's core brand and sponsorships. The other 50% of our work is dedicated to supporting Visa's partners and clients as an external creative agency. It's the perfect mix of client-side and agency life!Our team is rapidly expanding, and we're looking for a Senior Multimedia Designer/Animator to uplevel our video capabilities. This is a multifaceted role that will be the founding member of our dedicated video team, with the opportunity to lead and mentor junior teammates as the department grows. The ideal candidate is a skilled graphic designer with experience in static ad design, motion design, and video editing. Additional video and technical skills such as compositing, audio editing, and color correction would also be valuable skills.This role sits on the creative team and reports to the Senior Creative Director.This is an opportunity to join the Go-to-Market team within Visa's North America Marketing organization. You'll be working with the best and brightest marketing, brand, and advertising teams the industry has to offer. Come join us!Responsibilities- Design and produce engaging static and motion graphics for various digital platforms, such as web, social media, email, and video.- Supervise postproduction of video assets including editorial, compositing, color and audio finishing.- Collaborate with the creative team, marketing team, and other stakeholders to understand the project goals, target audience, and brand identity.- Develop creative concepts and storyboards based on the brief and feedback from the Senior Creative Director.- Apply best practices and industry standards for graphic design, animation, typography, color, layout, and user interface.- Utilize a variety of tools and software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D, to create high-quality visual assets and animations.- Ensure that all deliverables are consistent, accurate, and aligned with the project specifications and deadlines.- Review and edit your own work and the work of junior designers, ensuring quality control and adherence to the brand guidelines and style guides.- Research and stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in graphic design and animation.- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers and animators, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

- At least 8 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, video production, or a similar role

- A strong portfolio of motion design work that demonstrates creativity, versatility, and technical skills

- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other motion design software, as well as familiarity with 3D software such as Cinema 4D

- Ability to conceptualize and execute motion design projects from start to finish, including ideation, storyboarding, animation, editing, and delivery

- Knowledge of motion design principles, trends, best practices, and accessibility standards

- Experience working with branding and marketing

- Ability to collaborate effectively with other creatives and stakeholders and communicate your design rationale clearly and convincingly

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Experience mentoring and leading junior motion designers, and providing feedback and guidanceAdditional Information

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
