Description
The Mobis North American Technical Center is looking for an experienced CAD Designer specifically using CATIA and that has experience designing automotive Brake products, experience with North American OEMs is a plus.?
Indefinite U.S. work authorized required for employment. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable for this position at this time
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Support product CAD design and development of automotive brake systems for NA OEMs.Support all STEP releases and upload 2D drawings / 3D models for automotive customers.Support OEM development stage events based on product development timing.Coordinate with Mobis Korea from concept design thru final design stages including requirements, design reviews, change management, and feasibility reviews.Control and support engineering data/documents delivery between OEM, Mobis Korea and assembly plants.
Key Tasks:Surface integration into 3D models, 2D drawing creation, CAD data management, import/export data to/from customer, Mobis Korea, and suppliers.
Experience Level:5+ years of experience in CAD design of automotive brakes.? Experience in die cast aluminum and mechatronic components a plus.
Educational Requirement:Associate degree in Design/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Additional Experiences:
Tier 1 experience with OEMOEM TeamCenterCollaboration with multiple CAD systemsInternational experienceRequired Skills:Proficient in using CAD systems CATIA.? NX TCE a plus
Travel Requirements:
Travel- North America, Mexico and Asia may be necessary. Less than 5%Mainly work on site at MTCALanguage Requirements:English.
