Salary: $115,000 - 125,000/yearThis position allows for 2-3 days per week remote / work from home.TS / Top Secret Clearance RequiredAs a Technical Writer with expertise in cybersecurity, you will play a crucial role in communicating complex technical information clearly and effectively to our clients and stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain documentation that supports our cybersecurity solutions and meets rigorous government standards.Responsibilities
Produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and training materials, adhering to strict government security protocols.Collaborate closely with cybersecurity engineers and subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.Conduct thorough research and gather technical information from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards documentation.Review and edit documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to established standards.Support proposal development by providing well-written content that highlights our cybersecurity capabilities and solutions.Maintain documentation version control and manage updates in response to system changes or updates.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity documentation.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.Top Secret clearance is required.Security+ certification (or equivalent) is mandatory.Minimum [2] years of experience as a technical writer, with specific experience in cybersecurity documentation.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and terminology.Proficiency with documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio).Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical teams and stakeholders.$115,000 - $125,000 a year
