As an Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of high-speed custom automation solutions, guiding tooling design engineers and overseeing the entire machine lifecycle. The ideal candidate must have

for applicants that have experience designing automated machinery with NX CAD.

Job Responsibilities:Conduct assembly feasibility assessments and provide cost estimates for new product development initiatives.Collaborate with engineering teams to determine design completion dates and prioritize work assignments.Design new cable manufacturing machinery utilizing Siemens NX CAD software.Assist in developing and executing machine qualification plans.Provide technical support for the launch of equipment, including on-site installation, training, and developing re-tooling strategies.Track projects, develop accurate BOMs, and maintain up-to-date spare tooling lists.Ensure compliance with internal product development procedures, TQM, ISO, and EH&S management systems.Embrace continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience with automated machinery.Must be proficient with Siemens NX CAD software.Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
