Design/Build Project Manager (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:Manage diverse projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, urban/downtown, and industrial development.Evaluate, select, and engineer civil systems for projects.Develop designs using sketches, electronic models, and visual formats.Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Participate in client meetings, value analysis, and cost estimating.Support developing engineers and assist senior engineers with project management.Lead preparation and coordination of project specifications and construction documents.Utilize advanced techniques for analyzing specialized civil elements.Conduct quality assurance and control, and contribute to constructability reviews.Assist in developing new standards, efficiencies, and specifications for the civil group.Qualifications and Capabilities:Knowledge of civil engineering codes and design requirements in the local market.Understanding of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.Strong knowledge of civil systems, materials, and industry standards.Effective communication with clients and reviewing agencies.Thorough understanding of task assignment, budgeting, and efficient resource use.Ability to check others' work for accuracy and completeness.Collaboration in a project team setting and engagement in creative and critical thought.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software, including AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and PondPack (among others).
