The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist for our Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).

Assists with the development of multi-channel integrated marketing plans meant to promote assigned PMGs and its products and services. Analyzes and evaluates appropriate marketing channels to support plans.

Ensures campaigns target specific market segments or focus on specific products or product lines.

Implements targeted marketing campaigns (print, online, email, social media, etc.) with measurable objectives for assigned program areas. Prepares print, online, and other forms of advertisement. Assists with special events or promotions.

Collects, monitors, analyzes, benchmarks and reports on data related to marketing activities. Performs research and makes recommendations for improvements.

Keeps abreast of best practices, trends, tools and techniques related to marketing.

Updates assigned websites and social media accounts. Writes marketing copy and distributes promotional collateral for assigned program areas.

Adheres to PMG brand standards and guidelines, as well as contributes to brand development, refinement and maintains brand standards and prepares message calendars.

Collaborates effectively with other team members and is seen as a valued member of the PMG team.

Marketing collateral and digital newsletters are consistently produced with a high-level of quality.
