Compensation: $250,000 - $315,000/year (SF Bay area residents only)

Note: the exact compensation may vary based upon skills and experience

The Vice President of Marketing plays a strategic role in developing and executing marketing initiatives to drive organization growth, enhance brand awareness, and shape SEMI’s image as the preeminent trade association for the semiconductor and micro electronics industry. This individual will lead a team of marketing professionals, collaborate closely with other departments and regions to achieve organizational goals.

This is a full-time, exempt position which reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectivesConduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threatsDefine target audiences and segment markets to optimize marketing efforts

Brand Management

Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channelsEnsure brand consistency and integrity in all marketing communicationsManage brand reputation and crisis communications effectively

Campaign Management:

Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of marketing campaignsMonitor campaign performance and ROI, adjusting strategies as neededCoordinate with creative teams, agencies, and vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials

Digital Marketing:

Drive digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media and content marketingOptimize digital channels to generate leads, increase website traffic, and improve conversion ratesStay abreast of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies

Product Marketing:

Collaborate with product management teams to develop effective product marketing strategiesCreate compelling product messaging and positioning to drive adoption and salesSupport product launches with targeted marketing campaigns and sales enablement materials

Team Leadership:

Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing teamProvide guidance, support, and feedback to team members to foster professional growthFoster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the marketing department

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectivesCollaborate with senior leadership to communicate marketing strategies, results, and recommendations

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROIMonitor expenses and track performance against budgetary goals

Collaboration ensures alignment and integration of marketing efforts with overall business objectivesAdaptability: Being adaptable and agile in responding to changing market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and competitive pressures. This includes being able to pivot strategies quickly and efficiently when necessaryCommunication Skills: Effectively communicating marketing strategies, goals, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This includes presenting findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner

KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Proven experience (15 + years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the semiconductor industryDemonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plansStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-makingExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams effectivelyProficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital analytics platform
