OSA Assistant Marketing Coordinator ()

Job Description

The OSA Assistant Marketing Coordinators work with the OSA Marketing Coordinator to execute the social media and media production components of OSA marketing. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator is expected to uphold the OSA Mission and Core Values.

Job Duties
  • Assist in creating a marketing plan and schedule for OSA events
  • Supervise social media
    • Create social media, video, poster, or banner content as needed
    • Ensure the social media and video content is appropriate and posted on time
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process
  • Distribute non-OSA publicity in the BSC
  • Create logos, shirts, OSA polos, and other branding materials as needed
  • Ensure that all OSA events are photographed
  • Work major campus events such as Mx. Etown, TGIS, etc.
  • Take notes at all staff meetings
  • Attend weekly marketing team meetings
  • Attend bi-weekly OSA staff meetings
  • Attend OSA retreats and trainings throughout the semester
  • Attend OSA training at the beginning of the fall and spring semester
  • Provide assistance to the Assistant Director of Student Activities and marketing coordinator as needed
Required Qualifications

Minimum 2.0 GPA (semester and cumulative), if you are a first year student then it is expected that you receive this GPA at the start of the Spring semester

Good Standing with the College

Preferred Qualifications

Art or graphic design experience

Marketing experience
