Credited with the rise of contemporary Asian-American cuisine by the New York Times and named the most important restaurant in America by Bon Apptit magazine, Momofuku has restaurants in the United States and Canada as well as a line of restaurant-grade products for home cooks.

The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of shopper marketing initiatives supporting the strategies set by the GM. Ideal candidates will have strong shopper marketing brand experience, with the ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams, to achieve the companys business and growth goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the execution of Shopper Marketing initiatives to achieve Shopper and Commercial targets across multiple retailers and markets.

  • Ensure alignment with key internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, etc.) by creating and sharing vision, strategy and the path for execution.

  • Overseeing beginning to end multi-channel shopper marketing campaigns.

  • Ensures the measurement of overall results of Shopper Marketing initiatives for continual improvement and share best practices with internal key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams (brand, sales, category development, finance, operations, COEs) to align support in development and execution on SM initiatives.

  • Assess external vendor and retailer platform capabilities to identify future solutions for SM initiatives.

  • Study shopper research, consumer insights and retailer strategies to create insight-based shopper marketing programs that achieve customer, brand and company goals.

  • Manage Shopper Marketing budget maximizing return on investment.

  • Support Shopper Marketing Director in the execution of Shopper Marketing strategies and joint business planning efforts.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS required in related field; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of CPG Brand Management and/or Shopper Marketing experience managing and executing in-store Shopper initiatives

  • Highly preferred experience with project management across multiple initiatives and retailers at the same time

  • Strong understanding of consumer packaged goods industry, retail channels, and account-specific marketing

  • Understanding of Path to Purchase tactics and various marketing vehicles ranging from digital, coupons, print, sponsorships, media and more

  • Prior budget management experience preferred

  • Detailed thinker and ability to influence internally and externally to execute compelling Shopper Marketing programs and engagements

  • Experience with syndicated data analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
