The Methodologies Product Marketing Manager for the United States will be accountable for strategic marketing plans creation and execution of the 3M health care payment innovation, population health, and quality methodologies portfolio. This role will design and implement key messaging and core content, value propositions, and other key product marketing, promotion mix, and activation tactics as needed. This role will collaborate with business unit stakeholders to ensure the marketing plans support strategic vision and divisional financial objectives.
As a Methodologies Product Marketing Manager for the United States, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Driving market awareness and adoption for 3M proprietary and public methodologies as well as internal and external awareness for methodologies’ value proposition in 3M software and services offerings across the division
Owning new product introduction marketing deliverables through gate review process as needed for new methodologies
Conducting customer insights, competitive and market research to develop a comprehensive and division wide holistic marketing plan for existing product portfolio and for new product commercialization
Leading the strategy and execution of marketing deliverables for implementation of government and payer adopted methodology events as applicable
Managing the execution, reporting, follow-up and adjustment of marketing plan tactics such as development of core content for assigned solutions (e.g. case studies, white papers, eGuides, etc.)
Developing the strategy and executing key marketing/promotion mix activation tactics in concert with marketing support teams such as events, webinars, and advertising for methodologies portfolio
Working closely with Business Unit Managers and Sales teams (grouper applications, regulatory and government affairs, clinical and economic research, federal markets, and related provider teams) to support strategic growth programs
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
OR
High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of marketing experience in the health care industry
Seven (7) years of combined marketing experience in Product Marketing, Marketing Management, Sales, or Product Management /Development in the health care industry
Five (5) years of experience using and/or marketing health care payment classification, population health, and/or quality methodologies
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Strongly preferred: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Healthcare Management
Broad knowledge of health care, Health Information Management and/or health care IT industry
Experience marketing health care payment, population health, and quality methodologies
Deeper understanding of US health care regulatory and policy environment
Experience in development of thought leadership and industry influencers
Digital marketing savvy gained through experience
Key characteristics include self-starter, strategic thinker, creative, assertive, collaborative, action-oriented, clear writing and messaging ability, fast learner, strong business acumen, outstanding influencing skills and excellent presentation skills

The expected compensation range for this position is $155,615 - $190,196, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
