Pay Range*: $94,200 - $141,000/annually

Position Summary

The Manager, Marketing is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and oversight of the organization's marketing efforts to help achieve growth and profitability targets for key service lines. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who enjoys connecting the dots and collaborating with highly matrixed teams to lead and support marketing strategies that produce successful results. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
  • Marketing Strategy/Advertising:
  • Develop and lead the day-to-day and long-term marketing strategies for various service lines across MemorialCare.
  • Guide market research, interpret data and make recommendations in support of key initiatives and growth in new and existing markets.
  • Drive lead generation across multiple channels, including digital (SEO, SEM, CRM), print, TV, and social media as well as community events and strategic sponsorships.
  • Oversee strategic planning, service line campaign development, service line-focused community education events, and results tracking.
  • Maintain knowledge of the marketplace and the organization's competitive position.
  • Actively participate in Business Development/Strategy Growth Planning meetings for responsible service lines; seen as a trusted marketing advisor to the team.
  • Collaboration/Synergy:
  • Works closely with Marketing/Communication, Business Development, Operations, B2B, and key stakeholders to lead and implement strategic marketing plans for various products/service lines.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to ensure strong, cohesive user experience with all digital touchpoints for service line campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Communications/PR team to align Public Relations and internal and external communication with service line marketing plan objectives, messaging, and timing.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Develop creative briefs and clearly articulate service line marketing strategy to vendor partners/creative agencies and oversee the development of service line advertising campaign creative and corresponding media plans in alignment with brand standards.
  • Leverage KPIs and business insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Create regular service line marketing recap report presentations.
  • Individual Mentorship/Team Leadership:
  • Manage, mentor, develop and direct staff in the daily operations and functions of the department.
  • Maintain team project trackers using project-tracking software.
  • Prioritize and multitask

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a hospital or health care setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years leading a marketing team.
  • Deep understanding of audience segmentation and diversified advertising tactics.
  • Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns that generate leads and ROI.
  • Ability to analyze, track and report out on data.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortability presenting to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed at special events.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
