General Position Summary:

As a social media and marketing planner for ATEN and IOGEAR brands, you will be responsible for maintaining a social media presence and supporting related marketing activities for both brands to contribute to brand growth and brand awareness. This job requires using a series of traditional and digital marketing networks, such as assisting with marketing collateral, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube), and email marketing, in addition to supporting the planning and execution of marketing projects to promote both brands and products.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Create content for social media.
  • Post content that aligns with the company's brand image and new products across relevant platforms for both brands.
  • Work along with the Channel Marketing Manager in assisting with the creation, setup, and launch of specific social media marketing campaigns and ads.
  • Encourage, track, and measure audience engagement.
  • Manage social media profiles and apply SEO tactics (trends, hashtags, etc.).
  • Work with the Channel Marketing Manager to manage social media crisis situations, such as negative comments and inappropriate posts.
  • Collect and analyze data from marketing campaigns to measure campaign success and performance via reports/presentations.
  • Conduct market/competitor research to find areas of opportunity.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns setup and launch using email marketing tools.
  • Gather campaign information using tools such as Google Analytics to find areas of opportunity, gather insights, and create marketing reports and metrics.
  • Provide general support on all marketing-related activities for both brands.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent professional, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Be familiar with social media best practices and publishing.
  • Strong level of attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience coordinating social media in business/corporate brands.
  • Ability to work individually or in teams at all levels of the organization.

Work Location: In person - 100% onsite (Irvine, California)
Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: $20-$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
  • The working hours, totaling 20-25 hours per week, will fall within the shift time frame of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, from Monday to Friday.
Education:
  • BA degree in Marketing or digital marketing from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
