Job Description:
As a Social Media Coordinator for events, you will be responsible for creating, posting, and engaging with content across our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You will play a vital role in promoting our events, engaging with our audience, and increasing our online visibility. Your creativity and enthusiasm for social media will help drive our brand's success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok that aligns with our brands and event themes.
  • Event Attendance: Attend events to capture live content, including photos, videos, and stories to share in real-time on social media platforms.
  • Posting and Engagement: Schedule and post content regularly, interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community to foster positive relationships.
  • Advertisement Creation: Design and implement social media advertisements and campaigns to promote upcoming events and drive ticket sales.
  • Analytics: Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance data, and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing manager and external teams to ensure cohesive messaging and promotion of events.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Qualifications:

Must haves:

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and community management.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including their respective features, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to attend events, including evenings and weekends is required.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in event promotion or the entertainment industry is a plus.
