What does a successful Product Marketing Manager do at Clover?
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive the success for a suite of products within Clover. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure the product's successful launch, promotion, and ongoing performance in the market.
What You Will Do
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use this information to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with the target audience and differentiates the product from competitors.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Execute comprehensive GTM strategies that include product launch plans, pricing strategies, sales enablement materials, and marketing campaigns.
Content Creation: Develop marketing collateral, including product brochures, datasheets, website content, and other materials that effectively communicate the Aproduct's value proposition.
Sales Enablement: Work cross-functionally to provide sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell the product, including training, sales presentations, and competitive analysis.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and events.
Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and product adoption. Use data and feedback to optimize strategies and tactics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment between product features and customer needs. Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide support.
What You Will Need To Have
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
At least 5-7 years of Product Marketing experience, preferably in a similar industry or product category.
Has an understanding of SMB
Experience with positioning, value propositions, pricing and packaging, cross functional collaboration (sales, finance, etc.), and has deployed a full go to market
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in marketing tools and software.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
What Would Be Great To Have
Experience with product launch strategies.
Familiarity with digital marketing and online advertising platforms.
Understanding of product development processes.
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
