Product Marketing Manager
The product marketing manager is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of go-to-market strategies and tactics to support sales pipeline and revenue growth for a new digital experience that supports collaboration between financial institutions and fintechs. This role is a key focus area for the core account processing solutions group within client. The product marketing manager will work with product directors, account teams, sales and other key roles in the development and execution of plans.
As this role focuses on the launch of a new digital platform, the product marketing manager will help shape the creation of the experience, including the written content within the platform and provide feedback on the overall journey. In addition to supporting the product’s development, the product marketing manager will also develop marketing plans to help drive awareness across the industry and sign ups from companies joining the platform. Elements of the plan may include positioning, persona messaging, focus groups, sales tools, campaigns, events, value-selling toolkits, social media, PR and other executional tactics.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Develop product marketing plans for new digital platform, working in conjunction with product leaders, digital design and development teams, sales and client delivery. Build all components of the plan including positioning, persona messaging, sales tools, campaigns, events and tactical elements.
Work across other BUs to integrate product marketing plan with Client Enterprise initiatives as required. Support new product launches or enhancements as required by Product Management. Work with internal creative and brand teams and external PR agency to build out tactical and go-to-market elements. Monitor, report and evaluate plan effectiveness. Develop and manage budget. Education
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred.
Job Related Experience
7 years of proven marketing experience in business to business, direct marketing including strategy development and campaign execution including social selling, direct mail, email and other channels.
Skills/Knowledge
Skilled in Salesforce for lead generation, opportunity development and list management
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong people skills with the ability to develop productive relationships with internal clients and effectively work within cross functional teams
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Plus
5 years preferred, but not required experience, working in financial services or technology industry
Knowledge of Marketo Email Marketing Platform is a plus
