Job Description
We're hiring an Associate Marketing Manager, Healthcare + Life Sciences to join our team located in St. Louis, MO (hybrid 2x week in office).

This high-performing leader will build and execute a strategic marketing plan for our largest industry vertical. The right candidate demonstrates strengths in industry-specific marketing, ABM, and long-/short-form marketing content creation. The most important characteristics for this position are innate curiosity, learning agility, exceptional writing, and the ability to drive progress across a large number of projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Actively lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing programs, messaging, and branding initiatives that a) target healthcare and life sciences industries, b) communicate our industry expertise both internally and externally, and c) support the company's sales and revenue objectives
  • Steer marketing plans and initiatives from ideation to completion, collaborating closely with various teams and contributors, including practice leaders, subject matter experts, sales reps, and design teams
  • Monitor trending industry topics, research competitor go-to-market approaches, and offer recommendations to drive awareness and differentiate our brand within the healthcare and life sciences verticals
  • Write, edit, and project manage the production and promotion of industry-attuned long- and short-form collateral, including website and blog content, videos, sales sheets, guides and white papers, client success stories, digital ads, email, and other sales and marketing assets
  • Research, propose, and coordinate the successful promotion and execution of industry-specific events, including conferences, round table discussions, LinkedIn Live sessions, webinars, and unique in-person/virtual experiences
  • Manage and deliver on a high volume of planned projects and incoming requests, continuously prioritizing work in alignment to business and deliverable goals
  • Measure and report on campaign success
  • Effectively communicate project updates, acknowledge roadblocks, address challenges, and present solutions
  • Enable sales teams through the development and refinement of sales proposals, presentations, and other collateral
  • Write and submit entries for industry awards
  • Lead marketing calls, actively engage in internal/vendor meetings, synthesize new information, and effectively communicate opportunities, progress, and results
Qualifications
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills
  • Able to craft and position compelling messages that resonate with key personas
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive self-starter who can set and meet deadlines; able to drive progress across many in-flight projects with competing priorities
  • Comfortable working with all levels in an organization, virtually or in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, proactive, and accountable
  • Curious, agile learner who - through independent research and interviews with subject matter experts - continuously explores and quickly understands the technical and business challenges impacting healthcare, life sciences, and digital experiences
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a writing, B2B content creation, or content marketing role
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, and/or tech industries preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, management, marketing, journalism, English, or similar field
