Essential Job Functions
:
Search various sources including, but not limited to, the Internet, Euromonitor, Innova and Mintel for pertinent data. Create and deliver informative and inspiring presentations and flavor-driven proposals with brand relevancy to local and multi-national customers, with guidance of senior Marketers. Take the initiative to pro-actively inspire and inform internal teams with emerging trends, notable product launches, and market shifts to consider how to translate to flavor and product opportunities. Support the Marketing and Commercial teams in the planning, execution and attending of Trade shows and Tabletop Supplier shows. Support and help guide strategic initiatives set by management and the commercial team. Apply internally developed technologies to new product recommendations with appropriate consumer-facing language. Work within the Marketing community to generate new ideas and encourage knowledge sharing and cross-category fertilization. Manage the social media program (LinkedIn). Follow safety policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities as deemed by Department head.
Education
:
College degree (Marketing/Advertising/Communications preferred)
Experience
:
4+ years Marketing/PR/Communications experience, industry related preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
Competencies:
Successful candidate should be an energetic, self-starter able to multitask with excellent oral and written communication abilities. Should have reasonable public speaking/presentation experience. Must be very detail oriented, work at a faster than average pace, and possess a service-oriented and positive attitude. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and language skills required. Must be able to work well independently under pressure and have the ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Technical skills in Apple Mac and strong aptitude in PowerPoint, other presentation software and photoshop is a plus. Proficiency MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. A curiosity and passion for food and beverage products is necessary. Must be able to work onsite for 3 days/week and support the marketing department. Able to travel for customer presentations and/or conferences (day trips and/or occasional overnight trips).
