with us. The Associate Global Marketing Manager, Cytology, is a marketing entry-level role with direct portfolio responsibility (Cytology including BD Surepath and BD Viper). In this role, the Associate Global Marketing Manager will report to the Global Associate Director as it relates to overall brand strategy, brand management and communications strategy, with a focus on learning and developing deep customer insights, impactful value propositions, campaigns and vision to inspire execution that leads to growth. Responsibilities: Assists in developing global brand strategy, helping to identify and prioritize key regions for growth and communicating product value. Supports the development of portfolio brand, ensuring worldwide compliance to brand attributes and overall identifiable presence in the markets it serves. Earns trust and maintains engaging and inspiring relationships with the regional downstream marketing teams, their peers and their leaders. Supporting regional teams to deliver best-in-class marketing tailored to the market and the customer they serve. Works with marketing communications to develop portfolio campaigns and tactics for the platform. Key areas of focus include brand strategy, playbooks for platform, digital assets, global webinars, global value dossier, objection handlers, “3Whys" and competitive positioning. Partners with product management counterpart to ensure seamless transition of customer research and product management into downstream action. Reporting against important metrics and return on investment of these tactical activities back key partners. Making recommendations for improvements proactively. Assists the development of relevant marketing plans. Develops/maintains a clear understanding of applicable disease spaces, customers and the patients the product serves. Collaborates with Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical and Scientific Affairs, Business Development and other functions to ensure appropriate inputs into portfolio and marketing strategy and KOL development. This role will also be responsible for the Veeva process of approving marketing documents for the downstream team. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. Analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. Creative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas. Presentation and communication skills - written and oral - for a wide variety of audiences. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, team members, customers, and potential or existing business partners. Leadership presence with ability to utilize organizational channels, comfortable with complex and matrixed-team environments. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing. Flexibility to travel globally to regions and customer sites at least 20% of the time. Qualifications: BA/BS degree required, preferably within area of focus; Four year scientific, marketing or business degree preferred. MBA optional. 2+ years of experience in worldwide strategic marketing, global marketing and product management.
