Job DescriptionAs a member of the Salomon Marketing Team, the Associate Marketing Manager, Sportstyle, is responsible for the co-creation and execution of the sneaker and lifestyle marketing plan in North America, in alignment with the global strategy. This includes seasonal campaigns and product launches based on the global and local brand calendars.The Associate Marketing Manager, Sportstyle, works with local marketing teams to execute on seasonal priorities, with a focus on sell-through in our defined epicenters. They will consult on and oversee a full, omnichannel plan for this category and drive growth while keeping the brand authentic and consistent across touch points.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEvent Management and ActivationSpearhead event management, consumer experience activations, community programming, and strategic partnerships for the category.Collaborate on epicenter planning and high-impact activations.Drive and oversee special projects as required, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Marketing and CampaignsPartner with the shopper experience team to strategize and consult on marketing initiatives with key accounts.Oversee the preparation and delivery of comprehensive campaign briefings and reports.Ensure the fulfillment of content requirements, proper distribution of assets, and oversee local content strategy, budgeting, and execution.Collaborate with Sportstyle merchandising and sales leadership (Sportstyle Director) to define and manage the local Sportstyle calendar across all channels.Oversee the Sportstyle marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.Public Relations and Strategic PlanningCoordinate with global and local PR teams to develop and execute annual Sportstyle plans, supporting the local PR strategy.Provide actionable consumer insights to global teams and report on key marketing performance indicators (KPIs).Team Collaboration and ManagementConsult on category-specific training programs for shop professionals, enhancing their expertise and performance.Manage Talent by identifying and negotiating with influencers and designers for partnerships, maintaining long term relationships through support, and overseeing the collaboration process and performance evaluationQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.Over 8 years of experience in lifestyle and fashion, encompassing product marketing, community partnerships, event management, and content creation/briefing.Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams through effective project briefing and teamwork.Experienced in implementing and co-creating strategic plans that align with company goals.Exceptional presentation skills.Proficient in providing actionable insights from the North American fashion/lifestyle industry.Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills , with global/local experience being an advantage.Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.Skilled in identifying and reporting on the return on investment for category projects.Additional InformationPermanent contract, Full TimeJob located in Ogden, UTAH, USA.30% travel required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
