Senior Promotions Strategist, CRM

Squarespace is looking for a Senior Promotions Strategist to help develop and execute our CRM acquisition strategy.
You will be a key contributor to our data informed approach to customer targeting and campaign measurement. You will support our expansion into new markets and help manage forms of direct communication including push, IAM, and email.
This is a hybrid role working from our New York headquarters 3 days per week and reports to the Director, CRM.
You'll Get To...

• Maintain promotions calendar and supporting documentation across all products
• Build and execute email, push, and in-app promotions campaigns that meet pre-defined KPIs such as CTR, open rates, conversions and incremental revenue lift
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of all promotional discount codes
• Perform all quality assurance steps including proofing email templates, checking product functionality, and reviewing live renderings to ensure accuracy
• Help with development and testing of new promotions capabilities
• Communicate all promotions details to internal partners and serve as point of contact for Customer Operations
• Update promotions calendar and track all competitor acquisition campaigns
• Communicate insights and recommendations to the team backed by data
• Manage all processes and documentation for campaign QA and deployment
• Work closely with the Legal team to ensure international compliance of customer contact and promotions initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering team to support implementation roadmap

• 3+ years of experience in an direct marketing/CRM role, using multiple channels to communicate to customer base
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design, overall email processes, and ESP platforms
• Manage different projects across a variety of stakeholders simultaneously
• Champion ideas and execute in an expedited time frame and to establish trust and maintain a collaborative spirit working cross-functionally in the organization

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
