Now Brewing – brand communications manager! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only

celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

Our Global Communications team serves as an advocate to drive awareness for the customer experience, while also enhancing and protecting the brand perception and reputation. We are looking for an experienced PR practitioner to lead the external communications programs that support our seasonal promotions for our U.S. retail business, as well as other brand communications projects. This role requires the ability to navigate a global business with creativity and flexibility as well as manage deadlines, bring others along, and work closely with the agency team. For this role, we are looking for communicators with proven experience as an earned media strategist, media relations expert, and storyteller. Other key skills include the ability to create external communications plans as part of a cross-functional team, incorporating business and consumer insights into the work.

As a brand communications manager, you will…

  • Be a part of the external communications team that supports our seasonal promotions through earned media. Support includes managing and leading both proactive and reactive communications to support both our core US retail business as well as supporting other brand communications programs as needed.
  • Be dedicated to building and executing communications strategies alongside multiple cross-functional teams from marketers to operators to support our seasonal promotions and other brand comms initiatives.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to navigate a global business with creativity and flexibility as well as manage multiple deadlines and lead an agency team.
