We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator / Proposal Specialist to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Wilson Engineers has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Specialist. Our perfect candidate will have a minimum of 5 years prior marketing experience working for an engineering, architecture, or construction company.

This position requires 40 hours/week in our Tempe office and is responsible for leading our marketing and proposal efforts in support of our marketing and branding strategies. We are seeking candidates who possess above-average graphic design, technical, communication, and organizational skills and can manage our proposal process.

Responsibilities:

Pursuits, Proposals, and SOQ's (80%)

• In coordination with the Marketing Manager, helps lead project pursuits, manage pursuit processes, and follow quality procedures for document production for the full pursuit lifecycle, including interview preparation
• Prepares, assists with, and tracks proposals, statements of qualifications, and other marketing collateral from concept through completion
• Composes, edits, and creates graphic material and prepares staff resumes and project experience needed for proposals and SOQ's
• Works with Project Managers and Engineers to coordinate responses between relevant internal departments to develop messaging and content for proposals
• Complete technical tasks such as creating graphics, layout templates, proofreading, preparing review drafts, and final edits
• Responsible for timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications

Marketing Promotions, Presentations, and Digital Marketing (20%)

• Assist in developing communications campaigns with ideas for e-mail blasts: project news, employee promotions, and thought leadership
• Help create content and graphics for the Intranet and Website
• Assists in the coordination of trade shows and special events, including developing conference concepts, promotions, and artwork

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, architecture, or similar industry
• Must have above-average experience with executing competitive Proposals/SOQ's
• Above-average proficiency in graphic design using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Above-average proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills
• Have a passion for creating high-quality finished products
• Creative thinker/problem-solver
• Works well under pressure to meet deadlines
