This position can be based in either our Winamac, IN or Carmel, IN location and allows for a hybrid work schedule.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

At BraunAbility, the Digital Marketing Operations team establishes and maintains a world-class digital marketing infrastructure, empowering our marketing teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. As the Director of Digital Marketing Operations, you will lead a team of thought leaders to ensure new and emerging technologies are implemented appropriately for the benefit of our business units. Your role includes developing strategies for customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and marketing insights to drive personalized customer experiences and foster growth. You will also oversee the Martech stack, promoting its effective use through best practices and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This position focuses on enabling business units to independently leverage marketing technology to achieve their goals while aligning with company-wide objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, analytics, CRM data, and IT across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Enablement Strategy: Develop and execute strategies that empower business units to independently leverage marketing technology to achieve their goals while aligning with company-wide objectives.
  • Martech Stack Strategy and Maintenance
    Own and maintain current Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce foundations, ensuring proper utilization.

  • Technology Evaluation and Integration: Lead the evaluation, implementation, and integration of new programs, platforms, and applications to enhance customer journey insights, personalization and engagement.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Emphasize strategies for optimizing customer experience across digital touchpoints, including website usability, mobile responsiveness, and omnichannel consistency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with business unit marketing leaders and marketing teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Vendor and Agency Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and technology partners to support digital marketing initiatives and maximize ROI.
  • Performance and Growth: Drive growth in customer acquisition and conversion by establishing KPIs and tracking of website performance, SEO, SEM and nurture marketing. Implement rigorous analytics, testing, and program management practices.
  • Technology Expertise: Understand technology design, architecture, user-centric design principles, and software development lifecycle methodologies to ensure delivery of high-value solutions.
  • Roadmap Development: Evolve the strategic plan for the marketing technology stack to support business unit autonomy.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage efficient workflows and change management processes across consumer-facing websites and internal operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead an in-house team of website, marketing automation, UX/UI and analytics specialists, focusing on development and capability enhancement within the marketing organization. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations (ex. GDPR, CCPA) and internal data policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years proven experience in digital operations and marketing technology with at least 5 years in a people leadership position managing diverse teams and setting strategic direction required.
  • Technical expertise in marketing automation, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools needed.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams required.
  • Experience in leading change management processes related to digital transformation initiatives, as well as effective communication with stakeholders at various levels of the organization necessary.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, digital advertising, social media platforms, and content management systems essential.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities to drive data-driven decisions and optimize performance required.
