Overview

Family owned and operated bridal boutique is looking to fill a Sr. Manager of Marketing position to build a cross-channel holistic marketing strategy for a nationally recognized bridal brand, and the first specialty curvy bridal brand. The Sr. Manager position will work with company leadership to drive an organic social and paid media strategy to drive online engagement and lead generation for the businesses. In addition, the position will work with store leadership and associates to generate bridal content to be distributed across social channels. The position will be responsible for coordinating any PR strategies alongside company leadership and manage updating website content and tracking. This individual will manage the cross-channel marketing strategy and become the primary point of contact for the company on all marketing execution activities.

The Sr. Manager of Marketing will be directly responsible for marketing strategy execution, KPI management, paid media channel growth, organic social audience and engagement growth, and lead generation. The position will require a deep knowledge on paid media companies such as Google and Meta and social platforms such as Instagram, Threads, and TikTok. The role will act as the company's primary expert on currently implemented marketing strategies and future marketing trends to be deployed, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the bridal industry.

Responsibilities

Create and Manage the bridal marketing strategy for a nationally recognized bridal brand, and the first specialty curvy bridal brand
  • Hold and manage weekly marketing alignment meetings and updates with company leadership, ensuring collaborative decision-making. Weekly updates include performance KPIs and previously completed activities and follow week's goals
  • Deliver to company leadership monthly KPI reviews, retrospective on prior month activities, and goals for following month(s) activities
  • Tactical media and budget planning and activation across all marketing channels, including Paid Media, SEO, email, and other marketing mediums
  • Manage the marketing budget and expenses with responsibility to company leadership
  • Own timelines and communication with the stores and company leadership
  • Assess freelance opportunities to augment work capacity, including content creation activities or organic social posting and engagement

Develop and grow all channels of marketing including email, paid media, and social
  • Provide performance reporting and insights to drive continued improvement with the goal of driving website visits and lead generation
  • Balance paid vs. non-paid marketing initiatives
  • Investigate an email newsletter strategy that would open email acquisition opportunities to drive leads and appointments

Manage web properties and enhance tracking to ensure performance
  • Develop a weekly update schedule that ensures web properties are up-to-date with current information, events, and top designers and styles
  • Enhance web tracking initiatives to build improved paid media capabilities, lowering the cost of acquisition of leads and appointments
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting on web engagement, traffic, conversion of traffic to leads, and lead conversion to appointments

Coordinate content creation activities across store teams
  • Manage a weekly and monthly schedule of content creation to support organic social initiatives, in collaboration with store and company leadership
  • Develop and manage a content storage strategy that enables for remote access and collaboration across multiple roles

Launch a brand campaign and PR strategy to open the largest bridal location in the mid-west
  • Build a brand, PR, and social strategy to grow awareness on the opening of the largest bridal location in the mid-west, with engagement goals in 10+ markets
  • Develop KPI goals to assess performance of location opening initiatives
  • Provide weekly performance and strategic updates related to location opening goals
  • Select and be the primary point of contact for the PR firms within each market, including coordinating all PR activities across the identified markets


Education & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing
  • 4 + years of experience as a marketing professional
  • Experience leading marketing across multiple activation channels
  • Experience with content development and organic social platforms
  • Experience with PR firms
