VP/Director,

you will oversee a full Programmatic team and serve as the primary point of contact for one or multiple clients. You’ll drive the value proposition for the media team, identifying educational needs and overseeing the delivery of targeted educational programs. Your job is to monitor each individual’s performance, utilization, and career growth. You will be the representative for the precision capability with other capability leaders and should be able to explain to internal/client leadership complex precision concepts in an easily digestible manner. You’ll also ensure that all applicable media buying techniques and technologies are deployed for optimal campaign performance.As a Digitas thought leader, you must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital communications landscape to engage and challenge some of the finest minds in the industry and to further develop a new type of media entity for Digitas that seamlessly integrates technology and strategy.Day to day your role includes:Defining agency-wide strategic objectives and providing relevant thought leadership on processes, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth of Programmatic at DigitasServing as an expert on all aspects of the planning and campaign management processes, programmatic best practices, and publisher offeringsOverseeing the client services team by reviewing strategies, processes, campaign results, and the overall success of client relationshipsInterfacing with agency media teams to communicate service offerings, assisting with complex campaign setups, and identifying and delivering new solutions in a collaborative fashionEnsuring the Client Services team is aware of key client opportunities, potential risks, and other nuances that affect the health of the businessDefining and driving adoption of best practices in the digital and addressable media spaceLeading regular sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performanceCompleting forecasting exercises for senior managementParticipating in regular financial and operational meetings with senior leadershipCollaborating with Tech, Data, and Inventory partners to ensure that features, assets, and other elements necessary to successfully utilize their products are executed and delivered in a timely fashionServing as a point of escalation for campaign, strategic, and relationship challenges with clientsOverseeing training, mentoring, and development of direct reportsEmbracing and encouraging a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosityWe’re looking for an exceptional media leader, which typically includes:10-12 years of deep work experience in display and video media buyingSix or more years of strategic planning/campaign management experience in online advertising or direct marketingFour or more years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services teamStrong grasp of the digital media ecosystem– you know this world by heart and you keep pulse with the rapid changes happening within it – and a clear, solid understanding of the media planning and buying processDeep industry relationships with ad tech firms, brand teams, and publisher partnersAbility to organize and manage detailed work, work independently, and balance multiple tasksExperience coaching and developing talent in a rapid growth environmentStrong analytical thinking and mathematical skillsExcellent communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to othersWillingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideasGot what it takes? This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
