Your Role As a HealthStreamer

Position Summary

The Director of Product Marketing plays a key role in the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies and campaigns related to HealthStream’s products and services. The Director of Product Marketing will report directly to the VP of Product Marketing with a dotted line to the business unit leaders (VPs, SVPs). Together, they will collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Implementations, Creative, and others, to facilitate strategic alignment and make sure new business goals are met by demonstrating how HealthStream’s products deliver value. The Director of Product Marketing will also serve on their business units leadership team as the voice of marketing to help discuss, guide, and implement strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee and own all functions and initiatives related to marketing for your business unit including: go-to-market plans, marketing budgets, team performance, achieving KPI’s, messaging and positioning, buyer and market insights, and overall marketing strategies. This highly strategic and exciting opportunity focuses on our clinical development and clinical programs portfolios. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building and managing high performing teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HeathStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

Be a growth hacker that develops strategic marketing plans resulting in leads, pipeline and NOV for your business unit.Develop and execute the go-to-market strategies for HealthStream’s clinical development portfolio ensuring market fit.Assist the VP of Product Marketing in strategically creating competitive positioning and messaging standards for all products and solutions in your business unit.Hire, train, and lead a team of top performing product marketers.Be the subject matter expert for your customers’ journey and how to optimize communications to create good experiences.Conduct market research and customer calls to gain valuable insights on the competitive landscape, buyer personas, and product needsBe the primary decision maker for marketing direction and strategy for the clinical portfolio.Create and maintain a standard of excellence from your team.Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales Associates and other cross functional teams to establish strategic direction and be able to influence key stakeholders.Understand digital marketing best practices within your planning and help direct the demand marketing team to maximize fulfillment for all marketing campaigns.Drive sales enablement by creating sales assets and tools, assist in training and product certifications, and help sales understand how to communicate the value of our products.Leverage data to gather strategic insights and report results on all marketing campaigns to stakeholders.Drive accountability and results for the marketing teams KPI’s and overall performance.Be an expert storyteller that creates clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions.Use business intelligence tools (i.e.. Pardot, SalesForce, Google Analytics) to present and review results with senior management, adjust budgets and adapt campaign tactics to optimize delivery of qualified leads.Manage all collateral materials in support of the entire product solution set.Assist the VP of Product Marketing in marketing best practices including processes, planning, training, technology, and more.Ability to make decisions and influence stakeholders independently.

Qualifications

What You Will Need to be Successful

Education, Experience And Knowledge Required

A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in B2B marketing or SaaS based company or comparable experience.A proven track record of developing go to market strategies that achieve results and goals.Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).Hands on digital marketing experience is highly desiredDeep understanding of analytics and how to get actionable insightsMinimum of 3+ years of leading a team with direct reports.Degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.Some Healthcare experience or agency experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Skills And Abilities Required

This candidate must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.A strong storyteller than can think of creative solutions in multiple content disciplines.Strong computer skills are critical.Strong writing and speaking skillsA dynamic leader that isn’t afraid to step in and help when neededExcellent organizational skills with a proven record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and an attention to detailed.An energetic, mature self-starter who efficiently completes tasks in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid of leadership is the perfect candidate.The ability to manage relationships internally and externally is expected.A team player that is willing to jump in and help when needed.
