The DOSM will support our select service Hilton property, the Tru & Home2 Suites in Easton, PA.Areas of responsibility for our Director of Sales include:Develop and execute a comprehensive hotel-level strategic sales and marketing plan and sales forecast for the property.Work with the manager and revenue manager to plan, implement and monitor key strategies that support annual budgeted monthly revenue and RevPAR Index Goals.Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure the division's sales plan is on budget to meet or exceed revenue expectations and profit goals.Establish sales productivity goals, group revenue goals, GRC parameters and performance objectives for your sales team members (ales managers). Monitor progress against goals and provide direction, motivation and training.Be an ambassador in the community by attending appropriate networking events, becoming involved in civic or nonprofit activities and participating in relevant Chamber and Tourism Bureau events and informational meetings.Develop and maintain relationships with key clients of corporate accounts .Solid understanding of financial reports, forecasting, budgeting, goal setting and fluency in industry, brand and system reports.Ability to communicate strategies, market positioning and results in a clear and confident manner to key stakeholders.Prospect and acquire new clients/accounts through strategic outbound sales efforts; primary focus on corporate, corporate group, extended stay and transient segments.Effectively lead the hotel sales team.Our next team member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) requiredAssociates Degree in hospitality or related field preferredMinimum 3 years hotel sales experience required, brand experience preferredDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire a teamExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Fosse, Delphi, and ProfitSage preferred.Working for The High Companies:At High Hotels co-workers always come first.
