The Lead Ads team empowers TikTok's global monetization (billion-dollar business) via efficiently delivering lead ads on TikTok. Our mission is to push the boundaries of large-scale ads delivery systems and lead the innovations of TikTok's personalized online advertising. Hence, you'll have a chance to get deeply involved in our large-scale distributed systems and state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. As a Tech Lead Software Engineer on the Lead Ads team, you will make efforts to develop novel machine learning solutions for ranking, build scalable foundations and launch various products that maximize the efficiency of lead ads delivery.
What you'll do• Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system, including user intent and CRM integration modules.• Participate in the iteration of Lead Ads system infrastructures and improving performance.• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists and other engineering teams to land new product functionalities.
Qualifications
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant majors.• Excellent programming skills in C++/Golang, debugging and optimization skills in general purpose programming languages.• 7+ years of Industrial experience and good understanding in one of the following domains: Online Advertising System, Ads Delivery System.• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.• Good collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $210000 - $358000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life. We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.
