We are looking for a technical writer to create, deliver, and maintain content that meets business objectives, user needs, and user learning goals. In this job, you will apply user-centered methodologies to define and create necessary content. You will combine your technical skills with creativity to consider different technical and business approaches that will solve challenging documentation and interface copy problems.Responsibilities
Work with engineers to distill and extract key messages from a rough draftCreate clear, concise, user-friendly deliverables, such as getting started guides, installation guides, tutorials, and release notes and occasionally Blog PostsWork with designers and illustrators to provide graphics, video, and other creative services appropriate for the audienceValidate content for technical accuracy and completenessAct as enabler for engineers and the other technical and product roles, democratize the technical writingHands-on tasks of this role
Reproduce the user journey of the beginners and advanced usersInstall and configure Singlestore for internal and external testing and validation of the produced artifactsWe’re looking for someone who has
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Information Management, Technical Writing, Communication, other)Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skillsCoursework or experience in technical writing or instructional designExperience in instructional design and with instructional technologyWillingness to take calculated risks and stretch to achieve ambitious goalsPractical experience working using GitAbout SingleStore The cloud-native, operational database built for speed and scale.
