All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.The San Francisco Conservatory of Music is looking for a collaborative pianist who will support our Pre-College students by performing for rehearsals and recitals.Responsible for performing on Pre-College rehearsals and recitals as a collaborativePianist for the San Francisco Conservatory of MusicWork SchedulePart-time, following the Pre-College Academic CalendarClasses: September - May, Saturdays, between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pmRequirementsDemonstrate excellent musicianship and artistry as a collaborative pianistPrior professional experience working with young musicians; four year undergraduate degree or equivalent requiredAbility to sight-read and prepare repertoire quickly and work independentlyCandidates with experience working in diverse communities encouraged to applyAbility to maintain strong working relationships with SFCM administrative staff and facultyDemonstrate strong leadership skills; maintain a good relationship with parents; demand a high standard of excellence while creating an encouraging, inspiring, and engaging experience for the studentsSuccessful completion of a criminal background check is required for the selected candidateHow to ApplyWe prefer to receive applications through our website.
