FULL-TIMESUMMARY OF POSITION:The Service Advisor will be focused on providing administrative support to the Service department, liaising with internal and external customers and ensuring the department runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma, GED or equivalentValid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractAbility to pass a pre-employment background check3+ years’ experience in a Service Advisorrole or related administrative/ customer service positionPFW/CDK software experience an assetExperience preparing quotes and opening/ closing work ordersExperience with MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookMechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment work environment is an assetAbility to work within a fast-paced environmentAbility to organize, multitask and plan work efficientlyPositive and collaborative attitudeGood verbal and written communication, with strong customer service skillsSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Manage customer relations for the service department by receiving phone calls and emails and following up with customers to provide status updatesOpen and close work orders in alignment with internal procedure timelinesPrepare quotesEdit and update all work orders to ensure 100% capture of all billable itemsProvide unit history to the service department for incoming repairsAssist with Shop scheduling to ensure optimal efficiency and customer serviceWork with factory representatives to ensure customer downtime is minimizedConduct shop walkthroughs with Service Manager to capture real time status updatesPrepare and submit bi-weekly Payroll reportsWork with the accounting department to ensure customer accounts are in good standingEnsure on-time billing for all customersMaintain MTO files and ensure all documentation is in complianceProcess warranty claimsResolve and/or escalate customer concerns and maintain positive customer relationsAssist with Parts department as requiredCompleted additional tasks as assignedWHY WORK AT JJE?$45,000-$55,000 base salary, to be negotiated based on experienceTalented, dedicated and passionate team to work withExceptional best-in-class products and service offerings for our customersRobust Group Benefits401(k) matching programPaid Personal DaysCharitable Giving ProgramEducational Scholarship ProgramTuition ReimbursementEmployee & Family Assistance Program (EAP)Employer Matching Retirement Savings PlanFederally recognized as a certified Employment Equity organizationMember of multiple provincial safety programs and COR certifiedOur Core People Values:
