As an SEO Strategist at Abstrakt Marketing Group, you will have a direct impact on the success and continued growth of our clients. The SEO Strategist is responsible for the creation of innovative and effective SEO strategies to increase rank and performance of our client sites. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with Account Management, Web Designers, Web Developers, and Copywriters to communicate and further expand client strategy and conversion optimization.

The ideal SEO Strategist is well versed and certified in Google programs and will deliver SEO best practices. This person will develop ongoing and perform other various tasks on an as needed basis to continuously improve our clients’ performance. This strategist loves to keep up with what is happening with the digital marketing world, and continually looking to improve and evolve their SEO strategy based on changes to the digital ecosystem.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and manage successful SEO strategies for client brands. Provide and review clearly defined metrics to evaluate success and continuous, measurable improvement in client campaigns.

Create a strong SEO strategy using keyword research, competitive analysis, content optimization, meta tag creation, link development, and other SEO-related activities.

Monitor and report on metrics such as ranking, traffic trends, site optimization, etc. to help account managers and content team improve ongoing client strategy.

Research digital market trends, target insights, and competitor strategy.

Maintain subject matter expertise and proactively and persuasively deliver timely guidance on digital trends impacting clients’ business

Maintain a strong Local SEO presence for our clients using various proprietary tools to prepare and maintain website citations

Analyze results data weekly to help inform and improve our SEO strategy.

Assist in the launch process of new websites ensuring that all new sites pass the baseline standards we have in place for SEO success.

Handle Incoming support tickets related to clients website and content strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.

2+ years of work experience in a similar role (web development, SEO, Digital Marketing) or combination of education and experience and proficient with various tools including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and more.

1+ years’ experience with web CMS platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, Squarespace, or Magento.

Google Analytics Certified

Strong organization and project management skills.

Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to optimize websites for SEO, improve organic search performance within major search engines, and an overall understanding of SEO best practices.

Analytical thinking with a competency in mathematical concepts

Ability to work in a fast paced team environment

Ability to write clearly and concisely, as well as communicate and interact professionally

Experience using AI within the execution of an SEO strategy
