We're looking for a researcher/curator to join the client's social team. This role is responsible for finding, surfacing and developing original content for the official social media accounts. This person should be immersed in social media, passionate, and informed about on-platform and off-platform trends and culture that informs the content we feature from our official handles.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and is an avid Instagram user.
Responsibilities
Identify, surface, and amplify Instagram trends across a diverse spectrum of topicsResearch and suggest relevant Instagram content and creators for coverage on our social channelsCraft engaging content social channels, working in partnership with the larger Instagram Product Social team, based on signals from the audienceUnderstand the interests and behaviors of audience and how to best connect with them and keep them engagedDrive meaningful engagement by understanding our audience and their interests and connectionsActively build community across platforms social channelsUse our social insights and listening tools to identify great opportunities for engagementWork collaboratively across the team and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications1-3 years of experience in social, editorial or communicationsDemonstrated success in a self-starter, fast-paced, and changing environment; experience prioritizing multiple projects at once and adapting to changing prioritiesDemonstrated creativity, with effective communication skills to bring ideas to a broad audienceExperience with quick-turn/rapid-response communicationsExperience balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiativesA passion for (and strong grasp) of social media, humor and emerging cultureExperience in trend spotting and translating trends into socialKnowledge of videographers and photographers and photo/video shoot experience.An in-depth knowledge, familiarity, and experience of working with Instagram products, to publish creative content across multiple surfaces including Reels, Stories, Feed
