DescriptionPOSITION PURPOSE:

This role will report to the Director of Sales and handle multiple projects across the Hotel. This position provides strategic guidance and tactical execution on all marketing and public relations efforts. Experience and good working knowledge of social media, public relations, digital marketing, and email marketing are essential to success in this role. Good communication skills are important for success in this role to engage and manage expectations by a variety of stakeholders as well as external resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long-term strategies, to support the hotel and meet revenue objectives.

Implement tactics outlined in yearly marketing plan.

Pitch event ideas, promotions, and collaborations that reflect branding to increase engagement and awareness to local and feeder markets.

Identify digital opportunities across all locations to improve performance. Research and present solutions to Director of Sales.

Vet incoming opportunities from multiple sources and develop recommendations.

Collaborate with operations team at to develop unique promotions and events to drive location awareness and revenues.

Create and execute marketing strategies around promotional events to drive attendance and manage updates to local listings.

Plan and execute all social media and email marketing efforts, including an acquisition strategy for each channel and database management.

Manage and implement website updates.

Oversee and manage online listings for designated properties.

Lead reporting efforts on all media spend, marketing efforts, and agency support to track success or identify areas for improvement.

Maintain and analyze reporting documents to identify trends, what factors played into outcome, and pivot based on results.

Research, analyze, and monitor various environmental factors to capitalize on market opportunities.

Manage all agencies and activities to produce earned, paid, and owned media across all channels.

Manage and liaison with third-party agencies on all efforts including design, digital spend, advertising campaigns, and more.

Create and oversee the development of promotional and collateral materials.

Maintain brand standards throughout all promotional materials, communications, and events.

Manage and control budgets, and work with accounting to process invoices.

Other tasks as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in a related field of study, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other.

3-years experience in the marketing field required, experience in a restaurant or attraction based environment highly desired.

Must be tech savvy and possess computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Outlook.

Experience with CRMs and how to be engaging but not produce "Junk Mail" or "Always Block Sender" results.

Understanding of digital media & reporting.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be a strong communicator, able to connect with all levels, demographics, and audiences both verbally and in writing, both short (social media) and long forms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations.

Must be self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines.

Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

High level of comfort using computers and internet applications and resources is required.

Availability to travel as needed is required.

Highly organized. Attention to detail is a personal way of life, you are ideally a planner, maybe even obsessive to a point you drive friends and family crazy, at times.

Ability to think creatively and strategically.
