Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist with a minimum of 7 years of expertise in Product and Marketing Experimentation methods within the technology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for developing hypotheses, designing, and executing experimental methods, and deriving actionable insights from experiment results. Your analytical skills will extend to analyzing data from pseudo-experiment settings, utilizing techniques like causal inference and look-alike modeling to estimate incrementality from changes. You may also take charge of building models such as time series, GBM, and clustering to address specific problems, all with the overarching goal of enhancing website design. The role requires proficiency across the entire data-to-insights pipeline, including data discovery, exploration, transformation, model development, validation, testing, and effective communication and documentation. Key Responsibilities:

Develop hypotheses to address key business questions and design a variety of experimental methods.Conduct experiments end-to-end, from planning and testing infrastructure to execution and reporting, measuring the impact of product and marketing initiatives.Utilize experimental methods such as A/B testing, multi-variate testing, sequential testing, and multi-armed bandit testing, along with pseudo-experiment techniques like causal inference and time series regression.Employ SQL for data manipulation and analysis; demonstrate expertise in at least one scripting language (preferably Python or R) and familiarity with Adobe Analytics Workspace.Analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights, think critically about business context, and communicate results in a data-driven, results-oriented manner.Prioritize work management for assigned projects, including estimating timelines, identifying potential risks, communicating delays, and aligning on alternative solutions.Collaborate closely with multiple product and marketing stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into measurable experiments.Present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience.Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, product analytics, or a similar role.Hands-on end-to-end experience with experimentation design, planning, testing infrastructure, execution, and reporting.Proficiency in SQL and expertise in at least one scripting language (Python/R); familiarity with Adobe Analytics Workspace.Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from large datasets.Experience with digital analytics, particularly clickstream data and understanding of customer funnel journeys, is a strong plus.Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to a non-technical audience.Work management skills, including estimating timelines, identifying risks, and proactive communication.Positive and collaborative attitude with a commitment to continuous development.Education:

BA or BS degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.Pay: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $90,000 to $160,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period. Benefits: As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
