We are seeking a driven Sales Director specializing in Retail Media who thrives on challenges. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in advertising technology and has a profound understanding of the e-commerce retail environment. As the Sales Director, you'll spearhead the growth and continuity of our retail-specific business by forging strong connections with CPG brands' shopper marketing teams and agencies. Your role will focus on optimizing investments to bolster the performance of assigned manufacturer(s). We're looking for someone with a comprehensive grasp of the CPG and Retail Media sectors, coupled with exceptional service-oriented and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Major Responsibilities

Influence (50%)

Solution sell Inmar Retail Media offerings by honing in on client needs / challenges and industry trends within onsite and offsite monetizationHit quarterly and annual activation and growth targets Drive pipeline, & meetings leading to CPG revenue growth at both the Shopper & National levelMaintain relationships with all buying influencers within the client/prospect organizationOversee and facilitate sales from proposal through executionComfortable initiating and speaking with executive (CMO, VP Marketing) and mid-level (Digital Marketing, Shopper Marketing, and Sales) marketing professionals at brands and agencies

Strategic (30%)

Responsible for providing new product/service ideas based on client needs and being an information source with regard to how Inmar’s products can provide a competitive advantageResponsible for understanding the strategic goals and objectives of each client and developing sales strategies that align with Inmar’s clients’ strategiesBuild and maintain internal networks, garnering support and getting appropriate buy-inDevelop and maintain expertise on industry trends, technology, best practices, and regulations of relevance to Retail MediaThoroughly understand client’s strategic goals and objectives and translate how Inmar’s Retail Media products and solutions align with those objectives

Administrative (20%)

Maintain Salesforce.com records for all key account activityManage travel expenses and budgets, in line with Inmar policiesPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree5+ years of direct sales experience, ideally in retail media, advertising or technology.Experience in selling both onsite media preferredProven experience in managing and growing client relationships in a fast-paced, innovative, and revenue driven environment.Ability to navigate and collaborate with other internal and external departments to produce positive resultsSelf-driven and highly motivated to provide outstanding service and optimal performance of campaigns for all clients.A track record of proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Superior communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsTaking Initiative: Takes charge and capitalizes on opportunities.Demonstrable knowledge of the online advertising industry and retail/ecommerce environmentWillingness to travel up to 25% of the timeProficient with Salesforce.comProficient with Microsoft OfficeProficient with Google Suite

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is:

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands or arms.Regularly required to talk or hear and read instructions on a computer monitor and/or printed on paper.Occasionally required to stand, kneel or stoop, and lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.Regularly required to view items at an extremely close range and must be able to adjust and readjust focus.
