We work with a range of local and international clients and our body of workconsists of industrial design projects, facade systems, alternative construction, privateresidences, and commercial projects. Projects also have included art installations, performance and theatre installations, furniture, and alternative living spaces.We have a studio-like atmosphere where individuals can focus, inspire and learn from each other. We invite people that have high expectations for their own work, are good problem solvers and enjoy a collaborative work environment to join our team.We are seeking a motivated Architectural Job Captain with a focus on BIM based projects and with a background in parametric and computational design.GENERALREQUIREMENTSCompletion of BArch or MArchMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in an Architectural office. Prefer 5-10 years.Organized, precise and attentive to detailGreat verbal, written, and graphic communication skillsSelf motivated and enjoys a collaborative team environmentFlexible and well-rounded to accommodate shifting schedules, project demands, and deadlinesDetail oriented and self-motivated, with a working knowledge of construction means and methodsConstruction Documents and Contract Administration phase experience required * Must include examples of Construction Document sheets in submissionProject management experience preferredKnowledge in ArchiCAD (preferred) and/or Revit, Rhino, GrasshopperKnowledge of Digital Fabrication means and methodsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESA candidate should display excellence in a BIM platform and construction document oversight for complex projects.The primary responsibilities for this position include:Develop detailed BIM modelsfor design and construction documentsDevelop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and libraries across projectsLead in BIM implementation and support staff in ongoing trainingIn-house training and produce instruction materialsImplement materials and technical detailsCreate high-quality construction documentsOrchestrate internal teams on complex projectsPermitting and agency coordination as neededProvide architectural quality control for drawing setsThis is a full-time, salaried position.We providea competitive salary.
