The Digital Marketing Manager develops, implements, and oversees long term organic and paid digital marketing campaigns and short term advertising techniques through digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be responsible for the following: organic and paid social media, display ads, google search, print and direct mail; plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns; designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence; measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs); build and maintain a strong online presence for a company through social media including audience research, creating engaging posts, and monitoring social media metrics; meets with faculty members and advising the recruiting team on best ways to promote to prospective students; manages the College’s social media to engage current followers and increase overall follower count. The digital marketing manager should have experience marketing to audiences on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & be able to pivot to other social platforms as the digital world changes.

Essential functions: Lead CPH’s social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok; Identify and test new digital channels and tools; Collaborate with departments to determine how best to support them and their work on our social media channels; Research and implement new marketing & latest trends; Measure and report ROIs and KPIs as it relates to goals set by the Director of Marketing and Communications; Use web analytic tools to monitor site traffic; Brainstorm new campaign ideas and growth strategy; Communicates with digital marketing agencies of record; Designs, outlines & films social media content; Manage internal and external email communications using MailChimp; Manages requests for flyers and print collateral from faculty and staff; Develop and maintain a social media marketing calendar with a 90 day lead time. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus two or more years in a digital marketing role producing content. Must have experience marketing to audiences on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & be able to pivot to other social platforms as the digital world changes. The incumbent must be able to create and edit social media content using technology such as Canva, CapCut, Indesign and Ripple.Must be proficient in Hootsuite, Loomly or similar systems. Metrics such as KPIs and ROIs will be measured via Google Analytics. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:*Ability to “think outside the box” and discover/develop new trends.*Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends*Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation*Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments*In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices*Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends*Strong project management and managerial skills*In-depth knowledge of current digital trends*Experience in digital marketing, or a related field*Proficiency in photo and video editing software*Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research*Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics*Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data

Preferred:*Certification in Google Analytics.

This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
