Work Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA -

Mostly remote, but On-Site presence is required and the physical location will vary. The number of days on-site and location will depend on business needs and could be any of our local Atlanta facilities.

The ideal candidate

has strong experience supporting a range of internal communications needs within a large organization.Additional skills include AP Style knowledge, basic graphic design capabilities, familiarity with communication tools and technology, experience managing an editorial calendar, as well as drafting and managing strategic communication plans.

Description

As the Communications Manager, you will primarily support nursing communications for the entire Emory Healthcare system. Our nurses are integral members of high-functioning teams in hospitals and clinics, united in a commitment to excellence and outstanding patient care. You will work closely with nursing leaders to inform,educateand recognize our nurses.

Responsible for the integrated communication and promotion of internal communications in support of: HR, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, Emory Digital, Executive Communications and clinical (nursing/physician) and operations communications support, as needed.

Create messages and communications that are detailed,accurateand concise, and tailored to the author,vehicleand audience on a range of topics that span department-wide messaging, leadership communication, meeting presentations, video scripts, key messages and talking points.

Collaborates with others to develop and implement programs and communication materials for targeted audiences that enhances awareness and theutilizationof division programs and services.

Creates effective promotional materials including articles, brochures,formsand flyers.

May design, coordinate and update organizational website and related websites to educate and promote activities and programs.

Leads projects as assigned.

Maybe responsible fororassistin the management and allocation of funds associated with the daily operations of communication services.

Maintains records, documents,contactsand other sources of communication essential to the performance of duties.

Serves as an internal communication consultant for programs and services. Performs related responsibilities asrequired.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing orotherrelated field.

Five years of experience in the development of internal communication, marketing and informational materials, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Knowledge of publishing and other related software.
