Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Developer Advocate to join the Open Source Strategy & Marketing team. Our creative, experienced, and energetic organization is responsible for helping to drive the development and adoption of the Cloud Development Kit (CDK). In this role, you will combine your technical skills, passion, and creativity to encourage developers to use, improve, and adopt the CDK. In the process, you’ll nurture and grow the CDK community.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. A day in the life

As a community builder, you’ll speak in your own voice to help attract contributors and users to CDK and keep them engaged and inspired. You will work to improve the developer experience, both inside and outside of the CDK project. You will represent the CDK community inside AWS and use data that you gather to improve the project for all.

As an ambassador, you will build long-term relationships with other members of the CDK community. You will work with them to identify areas for growth, amplify the materials and resources the community creates, and recognize the people and stories that deserve more attention.

As a contributor, you will work to improve CDK, by creating resources to ease adoption, participating in the development process, and enhancing the technical documentation.

As a team member, you will lend your creativity, humor, and memes to our discussions and get-togethers. We believe in the power of fun and play to build connections.
