Graphic and Web Designer (Portfolio Required)

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer will provide administrative, planning and creative support to the Marketing team. Under general supervision, they will manage administrative tasks, assist in planning outreach events and seminars, assist in Social Media engagement, and work with the marketing team on production and distribution of marketing collateral.
Entry Level Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or high school diploma and two years' experience in an office-related environment. Must be able to type 45 WPM and be comfortable in all MS Office programs and marketing material creation programs like Adobe, Canva or similar products. Graphic design portfolio showcasing layout and creativity skills in print and digital pieces. Familiarity with ticketing programs such as Eventbrite preferred. Must be detail-oriented, can function in a fast-paced environment, and be customer service oriented. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent design and time-management skills.
1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 75% of daily shift.
2. Must be able to lift boxes or marketing displays up to 30lb to a height of 3-4 feet and load in to trucks.
3. Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, marketing materials, etc.
4. Must frequently communicate with employees or vendors regarding speaking engagements or marketing events.
Essential Functions:
1. Operate a variety of office equipment.
2. Assist in maintaining marketing files, reports and calendars.
3. Provide proper forms and supplies to designated departmental staff.
4. Assist in meeting planning support for outreach events and seminars.
5. Assist in distributing mass mail outs, email campaigns, or surveys.
6. Coordinate the creation, production, and distribution of marketing collateral.
7. Assist in Social Media engagement and ensure consistency with company branding.
8. Manage company-wide calendar of events and conventions.

9. Manage educational seminars, CEU accreditation documentation
10. Able to make changes to web pages through WordPress.
11. CSS and HTML a plus.
12. Must be able to take creative direction well.
13. Executes designs quickly without sacrificing quality.
14. Can execute creative projects using unique brand guidelines and messaging.
15. Assist in the creation and coordination of information for monthly newsletter.
16. Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients and prospective clients.
17. Must be able to work in constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.
18. Regular Attendance.
19. Other duties as assigned or reassigned by management.
