AWS is Rapidscale's largest and most strategic Alliance partner. As Director of the AWS Alliance, you will shape the GTM strategy for our AWS practice. By working in concert with product, sales, and marketing, you will identify new revenue generating opportunities across partner programs, solutions areas, and field motions. You will collaborate across the entirety of Rapidscale to drive consensus with key internal stakeholders to shepherd the company through these new routes to market with AWS. As the AWS alliance leader, you will manage a team of Alliance managers and program managers to elevate the esteem of Rapidscale within AWS, drive partner influenced revenue, develop co-marketing activities, maximize incentive and funding levers, and enable our sellers to co-sell effectively with their AWS counterparts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and unlock synergies between the two organizations to strengthen the AWS Alliance.
  • Collaborate with the AWS Alliance and company executives to develop focused GTM solutions to tap into these synergies.
  • Own rhythm of the business sessions with AWS leadership at quarterly and annual cadences
  • Identify new partner programs and maintain compliance with existing ones such as APN Premier Tier status, MAP, and MSP program.
  • Enabling sales to maximize bookings potential through co-selling best practices with AWS field teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing on the "market with" and "market to" on AWS focused campaigns and initiatives
  • Own "offer design" in building sales plays for AWS sellers and marketing to position as a means of lead-gen.
  • Budget management and resource allocation
  • Identify and maximize funding and incentive levers
  • Matrix to partner and sales operations to ensure that Alliance programs are operationalized
  • Own the business intelligence (reporting, dashboards, trend analysis, and data hygiene) for the AWS Alliance KPI's


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field (i.e. alliance management, sales, or marketing role with a deep understanding of the dynamics between each of these teams).
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience;
    • Or 14 years' experience in a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
  • Led an AWS alliance at an SI/MSP with a focus on SMB and/or Startups
  • "Think Big" mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and consensus building
  • Entrepreneurial/builder mindset


USD 112,300.00 - 187,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $112,300.00 - $187,100.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $110,000.00.
