SENIOR UX DESIGNER - RemoteFull-timeUS RemoteSalary Range: $80,000.00 To 90,000.00 AnnuallyThe Senior User Experience Designer’s primary responsibility is leading the interaction and visual design of TREND Health Partner's applications. This role will involve creating interactive mockups for new and existing features. For example, where buttons should be placed, what colors are used, and what style the dropdown menus will display. TREND has a portfolio of healthcare-related applications servicing providers, health plans, and internal users, so security and scalability are a focus of the architecture. Development considerations include user experience, user interface, information architecture, client requirements, and system performance.Role and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a comprehensive design system with consistent components and styles within Figma and coordinate updates with the frontend development team.Imagine elegant and thoughtful ways to present dataImplement best practices for intuitive user interactionsCollaborate with Product and Development Team to produce the best possible end productWireframe and present mock-ups of potential UI solutionsStrategize and implement the evolution to the existing design system as needs and products grow and changeUse Figma to present interactive mockups to stakeholdersCraft narratives on Jira to provide detailed specifications and interaction patternsMaintain discussions of proposed features as Jira storiesMaintain Internal Chat conversations during working hoursProvide work effort estimates to management to assist in setting prioritiesDeliver timely work in accordance with estimatesSolve problems as they arise and communicate potential roadblocks to manage expectationsAdhere strictly to all security policies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience3+ years in professional application design roleAn understanding of HTML and CSS capabilities as it relates to designExpert in Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity design, and prototyping, including component authoring and auto-layoutExperience diagramming with tools like Miro, Figjam, Whimsical, or similarAble to diagram a problem while collaboratively discussing architecture, user flow, and interaction designAn appreciation for determining the right interface component for the right task.
