You will be responsible for developing marketing plans and activities to strategically position a market leader in the US coronary marketThis role focuses on downstream, customer-facing marketing including dissecting clinical data, gathering competitive intelligence, creating marketing messaging and supporting the sales force with creative ideasDuties include product positioning, branding and messaging as well as KOL development for podium presence and publicationsThis is a broadly defined, high visibility assignment that will also include budgeting, forecasting, sales training, medical education programming, and extensive analytics, so we need someone who is comfortable “wearing many hats.”There is a large project management component to the role, and excellent communication skills are required, including written, oral and presentation skillsYou will work closely with Key Opinion Leaders in the cardiology and vascular community to develop them as advocates for the technology, plan and implement Advisory Boards, and manage medical education and trade show programmingThey are organized in a matrix structure and you will serve as the commercial leader on cross-functional teams with colleagues from product development, sales, finance, regulatory, operations, and medical affairsDouble Digit GrowthA generous relocation package is availableTheir compensation package includes a large annual target bonus and a generous equity packageThe annual base salary range offered for this position at the start of employment is anticipated to be between $118,000-$236,000 per yearQualifications

A Fortune 100 Medical Device company in the San Francisco Bay Area is adding new marketing professionals to their commercial marketing team. Their portfolio of products includes first-in-class cardiology implantable devices and imaging/diagnostic products used during interventional procedures. These products are minimally invasive, have strong clinical data, are cost effective and improve patient lives. The portfolio continues to grow, with several major US launches planned for 2024.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for developing marketing plans and activities to strategically position a market leader in the US coronary market. Duties include product positioning, branding and messaging as well as KOL development for podium presence and publications. This is a broadly defined, high visibility assignment that will also include budgeting, forecasting, sales training, medical education programming, and extensive analytics, so we need someone who is comfortable “wearing many hats.”

There is a large project management component to the role, and excellent communication skills are required, including written, oral and presentation skills. You will work closely with Key Opinion Leaders in the cardiology and vascular community to develop them as advocates for the technology, plan and implement Advisory Boards, and manage medical education and trade show programming. They are organized in a matrix structure and you will serve as the commercial leader on cross-functional teams with colleagues from product development, sales, finance, regulatory, operations, and medical affairs. Their rapidly expanding organization means there are significant opportunities for career development and advancement. Overnight travel is estimated at 20%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of med device, pharma or healthcare industry experience

• Evidence of successful product launch experience

• Experience with medical device capital equipment, especially in imaging, is a plus

• A Bachelor’s Degree or better is required; as is an MBA or similar advanced degree

This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A generous relocation package is available.

Their compensation package includes a large annual target bonus and a generous equity package. The annual base salary range offered for this position at the start of employment is anticipated to be between $118,000-$236,000 per year.
