Collaborate closely with the product manager and product designer to understand customer problems and contribute to creative and robust solutionsParticipate in the design, building, and maintenance of software solutions; take responsibility for the quality and functionality of code you write and contribute to services running in productionActively seek opportunities for learning from senior and peer team members; be open to receiving mentorship and guidanceContribute to ensuring quality practices in the implementation process, from solution design to production, under the guidance of senior team membersUnderstand and implement suitable coding practices and security standardsDevelop an understanding of and implement good coding practices and security standards, with a focus on continuous improvementEmbrace an agile mindset, showing a willingness to understand the 'why' behind tasks and to adapt to changes and feedback in a fast-paced environment

We’d Love To Chat If You Have

3+ years of software development experience OR 2+ years of experience with masters in relevant fields, demonstrating a solid foundation in software engineering principles.Experience with JavaScript, Angular 17, HTMLStrong CSS skills along with experience building responsive UI components.Have understanding of Version control systems, relational databases, entity relationships, Splunk, Cypress, Jest.Excellent troubleshooting abilities and energy to be on call for supportExperience working on large scale, complex applicationsAbility to gain alignment across cross-functional boundariesProduct through all stages of development from concept to launch at scaleFamiliarity and expertise in writing unit and component testsExperience in the payments industry or building payment applications is nice to have.Experience designing and building scalable cloud-native applications that are deployed in one or more public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience in complex problem-solving in large-scale systems, performance optimization, and high-availability systems.

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$126,500—$151,800 USD
