Job Description

We are seeing a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager for B2B Product Launches to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing the overall product launch and innovation content approach across product marketing to increase customer awareness of new products and innovation, accelerate sales, and enhance customer engagement.

Essential Functions

Your job scope will require that you:

Develop the strategy and define best practices for product launches and innovation content to accomplish business objectives (e.g., best ways to educate Visa customer about innovation, best launch announcement approach, best ways to incorporate innovation and product launches into sales discussions, etc.)Create and orchestrate a regular product launch process to showcase Visa business product innovation.Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders across marketing, sales and product to ensure launch content is created, impact is measured, and the process is improved.Mentor and coach marketing managers across the marketing organization to improve team proficiency at generating amazing product launch and innovation content.

In this role, you will report to the VP of Global Product Marketing, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that marketing delivers a steady stream of impactful product launch and innovation content to inform customers and create sales momentum. You will design and create the content program, mobilize cross-functional peers to implement and then oversee regular program enhancements and expansion to develop a world class capability for Visa.

Develop and implement a comprehensive launch content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Create compelling best practices for creating product launch and product innovation content including customer events, presentations, white papers, case studies, blogs, and social media posts to engage potential customers and create sales discussions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with the company's brand voice and style guide. Measure and analyze content performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize content strategy. Train and mentor product managers on how to create meaningful draft product launch content to feed the broader launch program. Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our product launch content remains differentiated, relevant, and effective. Know and understanding our clients better than they know themselves, including what they need and how they make their buying decisions. Understand the sales process for various product families to incorporate the right new product and innovation content into the sales process. Providing an expert perspective on product launches and innovation content with a strong point of view on what is possible and what is required.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, B2B Launches will play a crucial role in Visa’s success by creating a regular stream of product launch and innovation content that will create customer engagement around Visa’s continued innovation and sales momentum. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.Proven experience in content creation and management, preferably in a leadership role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong understanding of enterprise, technology sales processes and customer journey.Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700.00 to 192,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
