Job Description

The U.S. Client Marketing team, part of the overall North America Marketing organization, is transforming how we partner with clients to drive engagement, through a proactive and results driven marketing approach. This is an exciting time to join Visa's U.S. Client Marketing team, as we strengthen our focus on deepening relationships with new and established Fintech, Merchant and Co-Brand Clients.

As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of marketing programs on behalf of Visa’s clients to achieve Visa and the client’s business objectives. As well, supporting all business development efforts in selling in marketing engagements that drives Visa purchase volume, Value Added Services revenue and deepen client’s brand and customer engagement. Marketing engagements may include customer research & insights, product launch campaigns, lifecycle marketing strategy, creative development, channel delivery (email, paid social, paid display, search, OOH), influencer marketing and events marketing via Visa sponsorships.

Essential Functions

Work cross-functionally to support the sell in and implementation of marketing programs that leverage Visa resources and expertise, key stakeholders include Account Sales Team, Consulting & Analytics, Product Marketing, Research and Insights, Brand, Product, Communications, Digital Media and LegalLead implementation of marketing programs on behalf of Visa’s clients, including the day-to-day prioritization of work across multiple projects, deliverables and stakeholders, this includes developing and managing project plans, agency briefings, third-party party vendor relationships, creative development, client/legal review process, project timelines and budget trackingManage internal Visa processes to support the implementation of marketing projects including business development pipeline tracking, project pricing reviews/approvals, agency/client SOWs, vendor invoicing and project revenue recognitionSupport business development team responsible for selling B2B2C, B2B and B2C marketing programs and participate in ideation of marketing programs which may include marketing research & insights, marketing strategy, creative development, channel delivery and Visa sponsorshipsResponsible for building partnership relationships with the cross-functional team, including Sales, Product, Marketing and agencies, to deliver best-in-class marketing plans that drive business goals for both Visa and its clients.Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment and be results-oriented, flexible, and possess a 'can do', positive attitude.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDGeneral knowledge and basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign managementExperience working in, with and/or managing creative agenciesExperience successfully prioritizing and managing multiple projects/deliverablesCapable of working cross-functionally to ensure project deadlines and budgets are metAbility to self-manage and support multiple projects, as neededEmploys sound judgment and rationale when problem solving and making decisionsCommunicates effectively with internal and external stakeholdersStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong project management skillsProficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint5-8 years of experience in financial services marketing, B2B and B2C marketing, payments industry, financial services, and/or consulting with clients that involved launching new brands/products, lead generation, loyalty campaign, new customer acquisition and growing existing customer portfolioExperience in digital, social, paid search, influencer, mobile and sponsorship marketing campaignsExperience in consumer and business debit, credit lifecycle marketingStrong presentation skills, written and in person communication skills, executive presence, building relationship, influence decision makers and translate complex data into actionable insightsAbility and initiative to self-manage when necessary and ability to multitask to support multiple efforts as neededTeam player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are metSelf-motivated and proactive in asking questions, proposing solutions and can communicate clearly to manage various internal and external stakeholders’ expectationsStrong strategic thinker and problem solver focused on results who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgencyExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
