As aPrincipal UX Designer, you will be responsible for driving and implementing a Pan-Tax and Corporate AI design strategy across our most complex applications and problem spaces by partnering with our design team and product stakeholders. Throughout the product lifecycle you will work collaboratively across design, engineering, product management, documentation, and senior leadership.While delivering bar-raising experiences, you inherently look for ways to make complex experiences feel easy and intuitive, ensuring our customers are empowered to confidently move seamlessly between tasks. You comfortably make - and defend decisions while creating user-centered online experiences in an agile environment. About the Role: In this role as Principal UX Designer, you will: Collaborate and work cross-functionally with design, program, and engineering teams from design concept to design solution, setting UX guidelines, and creating assets to ensure bar-raising quality all the way to market. Serve as a thought leader in the design of useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment Assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements while defining a UX strategy and creating user-centered designs utilizing customer feedback, market analysis, and usability findings Present your solutions to design, product and engineering and leadership, and senior leadership. Synthesize and manage feedback to incorporate changes appropriately, and iterate the vision and design accordingly Continually iterate and evolve the way we design and learn from our customers Chart a course for yourself in ambiguous situations. Lead strategic thinking across the team and mentor designers Work strategically with other executives and team members across the organization. About You: You are a fit for the role of Principal UX Designer, If you have: Basic qualifications: 10+ years design experience creating simple solutions for complex challenges Experience working across teams to synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing Strong portfolio of work that illustrates your process, your level of craft and the results you have driven Familiarity with Agile development Familiarity with AI and Generative AI Confidence in working with strong, passionate, fast-paced team environment Strong time-management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred qualifications: Experience designing solutions across a product suite with complex workflows for specialized and sometimes niche customers Experience reducing product silos by delivering interconnected solutions Experience working collaboratively with a cross functional team to implement designs Experience envisioning and delivering solutions for large scope projects filled with complexity that often cross organizational boundaries Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that include experience presenting and influencing senior leadership Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, perf rming user research, and synthesizing analytics) #LI-DS4 What's in it For You?
