Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.We are looking for a Product Design leader to drive forward design excellence and web experiences for Centerfield’s suite of client and consumer brands that reach millions of consumers annually. Our portfolio includes categories like home services, business, savings, and more. Our ideal candidate has expertise in optimizing site usability and developing consistent, cross-channel product design, has translated business goals into design for major brands and can design scalable UX systems. As a product design leader, you thrive in training design teams on best practices, critical design analysis, user research, and A/B testing to drive and pivot strategy. You have proven success improving engagement, pathing and product navigation and have optimized transactional flows for leads and conversion. You are seasoned in auditing websites for usability and can efficiently launch and iterate design for measurable results.How You'll Contribute…Lead the product design team in developing and advancing design systems from early foundations to clearly defined stages of progress and adoptionImplement and/or improve team processes around workflow and management, as best suited for different working stylesOrganize, prioritize, and delegate tasks with precision and business understanding, defining and communicating timelines and success metrics to the design team, setting measurable goals, review points, and expectations.Coach and mentor designers, helping them advance to mid, senior, and lead levels in both technical (UX, UI, Product, Visual) and soft skills (communication, organization, presence, resilience, presentation, etc.).Foster a team culture centered around accountability while emphasizing creativity, innovation, and delight in the day-to-day experience and design process.Partner with product management to maintain and manage the roadmap as it pertains to design resourcing, the goals of tasks, and aligning on prioritization of business needs, adapting to changing circumstances and feedback swiftly and effectively.Collaborate with stakeholders and/or product across many different business areas to define and manage design requirements for all of design’s tasks.Lead the design team in creating data-driven A/B tests and experiments across our sites and platform to optimize user experiences and key performance metrics.Analyze and interpret both A/B tests and general monthly performance data to ideate and determine design strategy, creating new tasks, or providing direction to existing tasks to see success.Manage your teams’ overall performance data to track trends and assess the impact of individuals on their goals and their contributions to the business for reporting.Provide comprehensive design critiques at all stages, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring all work meets stringent requirements and quality standards.Leverage user research and usability studies to inform and enhance UX strategy, ensuring user-centered design practices are upheld.Model resilience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts and stakeholder relationships.What We're Looking For…3-5 years of management experience within product design and digital experiences, bonus if within D2C web experiencesAt least 8 years in the field of designA deep understanding of product strategy as it relates to design and business needs and design heuristics and principles of both visual and product designAn excellent communicator with equally strong organization skills, experience in successfully aligning stakeholders and stakeholders on the what and why of our workA proven record of success in managing teams through both individual and business challengesProven success increasing conversion and engagement via thoughtful and delightful designExperience designing for different industries/products with an informed approach to optimizing design for UX and product goalsAbility to use quant/qual data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive action
