The Opportunity...

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to elevate and mature the role of research and design in our product development processes. This individual will drive design excellence and enhance web experiences for Centerfield's diverse portfolio, which includes home services, business solutions, and more. The ideal candidate is skilled in optimizing site usability, developing consistent cross-channel product designs, and translating business goals into impactful user experiences for major brands. They excel in conducting user research, performing critical design analysis, and leveraging A/B testing to inform and adapt strategy. With a proven track record of improving engagement, navigation, and conversion flows, this designer will play a key role in auditing websites for usability and launching designs that deliver measurable results.

How You'll Contribute...Collaborate with product, stakeholders, and design leaders to manage the intake, feasibility, and priorities of multiple design projects within your ownership, maintaining real-time statuses within the roadmap and slack channels.Effectively and quickly create innovative designs, end-to-end, that demonstrate expert application of product strategy and UX principles to deliver the ideal balance of user needs, business goals, and brand identity across multiple web properties' A/B tests and net-new work, mentoring junior designers on your strategy.Demonstrate an excellence in user interface and visual design by way of hierarchy and layout design, typography, color schemes, brand guidelines, and interactive elements, mentoring junior designers through those heuristics.Create full experience interactive prototypes to test and iterate on design concepts before final implementation, incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders.Contribute to the ongoing development and management of design systems for all domains you work on, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest legal compliance, brand approvals, and live versions in coordination with our production design team.Lead the department's research expansion by intaking all usability research requests, creating research outlines that meet the learning goals, and synthesizing and analyzing the findings into reports and workshops.Independently and/or collaboratively lead the conducting of said usability tests, determining when to use moderated vs. unmoderated, creating interview scripts, and leading research-findings workshops with the broader design team, generating and delegating out action items.Translate existing usability studies' findings into organized insights within the centralized UXR library.Bring delight into the user journey of our web experiences through micro-interactions and storytelling concepts, fostering empathy and thoughtfulness in design.Analyze and create response plans to the performance data of optimization A/B testing for work belonging to you and the broader team, contributing thought leadership and strategy to iterations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends and market conditions, incorporating emerging best practices and technologies into design processes.What We're Looking For...

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field; or equivalent experience4-6 years in product/UX designProven experience leading design projects end-to-endProficient in FigmaA developed product sense and sharp critical thinkingA basic understanding of HTML, CSS, basic JavaScriptExperience mentoring junior designersLeadership in design research and workshop facilitationExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to present and justify design decisionsExperience managing and updating design systemsKnowledge of industry trends and best practicesStrong problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentLife At Centerfield...
